  • Description of Coaching: Coach (Karen Kasaba) and Client shall engage in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize writing potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of writing goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.   •  

    Expectations: During the process, Coach will share writing techniques, stylistic and structural suggestions, and draw upon her professional knowledge of craft to guide Client toward creating the best version of their intentions for their project. No outcome is guaranteed.   •  

    Client Responsibility: Client is solely responsible for creating and implementing actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and his/her coaching calls and interactions with the Coach. As such, the Client agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach.   •  

    Coaching Refund Policy: Payment in full for services is due prior to commencement, or by agreed upon payment plan. Zoom Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hrs in advance. Missed sessions will not receive any refund or credit. Coaching services are non-refundable upon MS submission.   •    •  

    WORKSHOP AGREEMENT

    INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: Class videos, handouts, and other class materials supplied by Writers Studio are materials copyrighted by Karen Kasaba. When you register, you are licensing the class materials for your personal use only during the period of the class dates only. Sharing the materials with others is a violation of U.S. Copyright law.   •   

    EQUAL OPPORTUNITY: Writers Studio does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, disability, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, or marital status.  •   

    PRIVACY POLICY 

    PARTICIPANTS AGREE  that all communications are confidential and that any work shared constitutes a claim of copyright ownership by the writer.   •    

    PARTICIPANTS AGREE not to share, disclose, copy, sell, market or distribute any other participants work to a third party without the owner's express written permission. Violation of these terms may result in removal from the class and/or further legal action by the copyright owner. Please note that ideas and facts are not copyrightable. It is possible that class participants may share independent work that is similar in theme or basic concept without violating these terms. Participants who submit work may want to copyright their materials with the U.S. Copyright Office and/or register them with the Writers Guild of America, East or Writers Guild of America, West. Writers Studio, under no circumstances, shall be liable for any intellectual property or confidentiality infringement that is carried out by a participant in the class. Participants understand that by submitting their work to the class there is some element of risk concerning the protection and secrecy of their work.   •  

    By making payment for writing services to Karen Kasaba, Kaizen Creative, LLC, dba Guided Writing Tours, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Terms of Service.
